HOA Rebates & Free Services
Your HOA can save water, too!
Homeowners associations can take part in water-saving efforts through programs and rebates available from Thornton Water.

HOA Rebates
Thornton Water offers a variety of rebates to assist Homeowners associations (HOAs) in reducing their water consumption, both outdoors and indoors.

This program offers rebates to HOAs in the Thornton water service area for replacing old toilets with WaterSense-certified models. For the replacement of installed toilets only, not for new construction. Must be WaterSense-certified toilets. Standard 1.6 or dual flush toilets on the WaterSense list do not qualify.
The commercial irrigation efficiency project rebate program encourages custom irrigation system enhancements designed to save water and money. This rebate program is for non-residential Thornton water customers (for example, HOAs, schools, churches, businesses, and multifamily properties). The rebate is a 50% match, up to $10,000, subject to budget availability.
Project examples could include the installation of weather-based irrigation controllers, rain sensors, hydrometers, and master valves, as well as the replacement of inefficient irrigation system components. If you have a water-saving project in mind and would like to see if it qualifies and if funding is available, please contact Water Resources at 720-977-6600 or email Water@ThorntonWater.com.
